Husch Blackwell LLP seeks a Director of Conflicts to partner with Risk Management and the Office of the General Counsel. You will lead conflict-check operations, implement policies, and manage a team to deliver timely, accurate results while coordinating with cross-functional partners across the firm.

The role requires extensive conflicts experience, strong leadership, and strategic oversight to drive risk management and compliance initiatives across multiple offices and client matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; JD strongly preferred but not required.
• Extensive conflicts experience in a law firm or similar setting.
• Experience leading multi-office initiatives in a professional services firm.
• Proficiency with conflicts software systems (Elite, Intapp Open).

Responsibilities

• Lead conflict-check operations and establish firm-wide processes.
• Train conflicts managers and analysts; coordinate with intake and other teams.
• Develop and enforce policies addressing conflicts, intake, and risk management.
