Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP seeks a Director of Conflicts to partner with Risk Management and the Office of the General Counsel to establish processes ensuring conflicts are resolved quickly and effectively, mitigating risk across jurisdictions.

The role leads conflict checking, training, and department operations while coordinating with intake, ethics, and legal teams. Remote work options are available nationwide.

Qualifications

• Extensive conflicts experience in a law firm setting.
• Supervisory experience leading a team of professionals.
• Strong knowledge of legal ethics and conflicts rules.
• Ability to train and mentor conflicts personnel.
• Experience with firm-wide processes and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead conflicts operations and escalation handling.
• Develop and enforce conflict policies and procedures.
• Oversee conflict-check systems and reporting.
• Coordinate with intake, ethics, and practice groups.
• Manage department budget and projects.
• Provide leadership across multiple offices.
