Job summary

Columbia Technology Partners, Inc. is seeking a Configuration Manager to implement and maintain CM and version control across hardware and software systems throughout the full lifecycle.

You will establish baselines, enforce standardized CM processes, and support audits and Change Control Board activities to ensure configuration integrity and traceability.

This role requires 6 years of CM experience, a technical degree or equivalent experience, and hands-on use of tools such as DOORS and Git/SVN.

Qualifications

• Six years of CM and version control experience on programs of similar scope
• Bachelor's degree or four additional years of CM experience in lieu of a degree
• Demonstrated experience implementing and managing hardware and software configuration baselines and version control systems
• For developmental programs, a minimum of one year of experience using source code control systems such as Git, SVN, or equivalent tools

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce hardware and software configuration management and version control policies, processes, and procedures
• Establish, maintain, and control configuration baselines, ensuring accurate versioning and traceability of all configuration items (CIs)
• Manage end-to-end configuration control, including change tracking, impact analysis, approvals, and audit readiness
• Utilize CM tools (e.g., DOORS, Eclipse) to store, track, and manage configuration artifacts
• Support build, integration, test, and release environments while maintaining configuration integrity across all phases
• Develop and document CM processes, including automated build and release procedures aligned with applicable standards
• Conduct configuration audits, support Change Control Board (CCB) activities, and ensure end-to-end configuration traceability
