Job summary

Columbia Technology Partners seeks a Configuration Manager to implement and maintain CM and version control across hardware and software systems throughout the full lifecycle. You will ensure configuration integrity, baselines, traceability, and audit readiness.

The role requires six years of CM experience, a technical or business-related degree (or equivalent), and hands-on with Git/SVN, DOORS, and Eclipse. This Maryland-based position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Six or more years of configuration management and version control experience on programs of similar scope
• Bachelor's degree or four additional years of CM experience in lieu of a degree
• Experience implementing and managing hardware and software configuration baselines and version control systems
• Development programs: at least 1 year using source code control systems such as Git, SVN, or equivalent tools

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce hardware and software CM policies, processes, and procedures
• Establish, maintain, and control configuration baselines with traceability of CIs
• Manage end-to-end configuration control including change tracking, impact analysis, approvals, and audits
• Utilize CM tools (e.g., DOORS, Eclipse) to store, track, and manage configuration artifacts
• Support build, integration, test, and release environments while maintaining configuration integrity
• Develop CM processes including automated build and release procedures
• Conduct configuration audits and support Change Control Board activities
