Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in the Seattle area seeks a Manager of Software and Hardware Configuration and Data Management to lead CM across Lunar Permanence programs. You will own policies, processes, tools, and training, ensuring rigorous baselines for software and hardware components throughout the lifecycle.

You will mentor a team of CM engineers, partner with engineering, manufacturing, software QA, and SMA, and drive compliant configurations for safety-critical spaceflight systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 8+ years of aerospace or related industry experience.
• 5+ years leading technical teams with responsibility for career management.
• Hands-on software configuration management in a technical environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software and hardware configuration and data management engineers and analysts.
• Define, own, and continuously improve CM policies, processes, and best practices.
• Manage software and hardware configuration baselines and change control across full lifecycles.
• Coordinate configuration reviews, audits, and compliance assessments with cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical guidance on builds, toolchains, and CM best practices.
