Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a senior leader for Software and Hardware Configuration Management within the Lunar Permanence program. You will guide a team of CM engineers, drive robust CM processes, and partner with engineering, manufacturing, software QA, and SMA to ensure mission-critical configuration control.

The role emphasizes compliance with DO-178C/B, DO-254, and industry standards, with a focus on safety, reliability, and traceability across vehicle configurations and design reviews.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science/Engineering or related STEM discipline.
• 8+ years proven aerospace/related industry experience.
• 5+ years leading technical teams with career management responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of Software/Hardware Configuration Management principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Software and Hardware Configuration and Data Management engineers and analysts.
• Recruit, hire, and mentor team members and model leadership principles.
• Embed configuration management best practices across cross-functional programs.
