Job summary

Lunar Outpost is seeking a Configuration Manager to ensure accurate configuration data for engineering docs, BOMs, and as-built configurations. You will lead change control and develop CMPs to control baselines in a dynamic startup environment.

Requirements include a STEM degree and 7+ years in CM, DevOps, or sysadmin roles within aerospace/defense, plus hands-on CM tools experience (Windchill, Jira) and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, CS, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of configuration management, DevOps, or systems administration in aerospace/defense.
• Experience with CM tools Windchill, Build, Jira and version control systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure configuration data for all engineering docs, BOMs, and as-built configurations is accurate and traceable.
• Interface with systems engineering, supply chain and quality teams to align hardware configurations with verified designs.
• Manage FCAs and PCAs and prepare required reports and verification documentation.
