Job summary

Lunar Outpost is seeking a Configuration Manager to join our space robotics team in Denver, CO. You will oversee configuration data accuracy, implement CMPs, lead change control board activities, and define CM baselines to support reliable hardware and software configurations.

Responsibilities include maintaining BOMs and drawings, coordinating with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams, and conducting audits with thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of configuration management, DevOps, or Systems Administration in the aerospace or defense industry.
• Experience with Configuration Management tools (Windchill, Bild, Jira, etc), and version control systems.
• Self-motivated, focused, and driven to meet critical deadlines.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all engineering documentation, drawings, bills of material (BOMs), and as-built configurations are accurately maintained and traceable.
• Interface with systems engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure consistency between hardware configurations and verified designs.
• Manage functional and physical configuration audits (FCAs and PCAs) and prepare required reports and verification documentation
