Job summary

Peraton is seeking a mid-level Configuration Manager in Chantilly, VA to lead configuration and change management activities across enterprise, program, and project levels. You will support baselines, ensure changes are incorporated, and advance CM tools and processes in a traditional and Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree
• TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly
• Experience supporting configuration management, change management, documentation control, or related technical processes.
• Ability to develop and use complex concepts and processes.
• Experience conducting root-cause problem analysis.
• Experience with ServiceNow-based configuration management tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversees QA of RFCs and related change docs across the lifecycle.
• Maintains configuration baselines and configuration control procedures.
• Performs CM at enterprise, program, project, and segment levels using traditional and Agile methods.
• Identifies opportunities to improve CM processes and tools for agile execution.
• Coordinates updates to CM documentation and SOPs as processes evolve.
• Reviews and posts RFC materials in the Baseline Management System (BMS) / NGA CM Library.
