Job summary

Origin Red Rocks, a Tandem Hospitality Group property, seeks a Conference Services Manager to oversee total meeting management from assignment through final payment, coordinating guest rooms, menus, AV, and VIP arrangements.

The role requires strong client relations, cross‑department collaboration, and meticulous event documentation, with responsibilities spanning pre/post‑convention meetings, billing accuracy, and on‑site leadership to ensure a flawless guest experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years hotel sales/catering experience.
• Knowledge of hotel industry operations.
• Proven leadership and customer service skills.
• Proficient with MS Office; Opera Cloud or Event Temple experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, upsell and detail the program with the client including verification and modification of space requirements, guestrooms, times, equipment, menus, themes/decorations, etc.
• Prepare the appropriate group resumes and paperwork to ensure quality service.
• Manage function details and related activities to ensure that program requirements are satisfied. Anticipate and handle customer complaints and/or problems to ensure experience service delivery, customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Prepare correspondence to customers, internal booking reports and file maintenance.
• Participate in business review meetings, plan and document pre‑ and post‑convention meetings, training and other catering sales related meetings as required.
