Job Title: Conference Services Attendant

We are hiring immediately for part-time Conference Services Attendant positions.

Location: Warren Conference Center & Inn - 529 Chestnut Street, Ashland, MA 01721. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Part-time. Days and hours may vary; nights and weekends included. More details upon interview.

Requirement: No previous experience required.

Job Summary

Summary: Ensure all meeting rooms and public areas are maintained professionally and meet all meeting requirements before start times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Move and arrange tables, chairs, and linens for events.
2. Set up additional items like flipcharts, whiteboards, screens, etc.
3. Ensure rooms are equipped with necessary materials.
4. Refresh rooms between meetings.
5. Provide prompt service as scheduled or requested.
6. Maintain communication with clients, guests, and team members.
7. Assist visitors and provide directions or escort as needed.
8. Collaborate with colleagues to solve setup challenges.
9. Conduct weekly inspections and coordinate with departments for repairs.
10. Assist with basic audio-visual equipment.
11. Maintain inventory and notify supervisors when supplies are low.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Customer service or houseman/porter experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
