Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in Los Angeles seeks a Conference and Meeting Events Manager to coordinate meetings and events, acting as a brand ambassador and trusted partner for planners, hosts and attendees.

You will drive collaboration across teams, forecast and report budgets, ensure client experiences are memorable, and build strong relationships with planners through daily briefings while prioritizing guest safety and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Business language and tools acumen.
• Bachelor's Degree/higher education qualification/equivalent in hospitality or related field.
• 3+ years total experience in a catering setting or related field.
• Must speak local language(s).

Responsibilities

• Being the key link between teams and departments to drive collaboration, plan activity and create an environment where everyone can thrive.
• Completing forecasts, plans and productivity reports to budget with accuracy.
• Ensuring successful and memorable client experiences as their key point of contact.
• Working closely alongside planners to build strong working relationships with daily briefings.
• Ensuring guest safety, environmental impact and business needs always remain a priority.
• Conducting pre-event and post-event meetings to continually improve the client experience.
