Job summary

The I Hotel and Illinois Conference Center in Champaign-Urbana, IL, is seeking a Part-time Conference Center Attendant to provide superior guest service during events and meetings.

Responsibilities include setup and breakdown of conference equipment, maintaining room appearance, coordinating with supervisors, ensuring readiness for the next day, and responding promptly to guest requests. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Set-up/Breakdown of all Conference Center equipment prior to and after functions.
• Maintain general appearance of Conference Center rooms.
• Keep in constant contact with Supervisors regarding event progress and guest needs.
• Prepare for next day setup and note required arrangements.
• Remove trash from all areas.
• Care and maintenance of conference center rooms and events.
• Refresh meeting rooms during breaks.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests.
• Attend departmental and other meetings as required.
• Know and comply with company policies on safety, security, emergencies, and energy.
• Report to work on time in complete uniform.
• May assist with other duties as assigned.

The I Hotel and Illinois Conference Center is seeking a Part-time Conference Center Attendant with the following qualities and qualifications:

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):.

• Set-up/Breakdown of all Conference Center equipment prior to and after functions.
• Maintain general appearance of Conference Center rooms.
• Keep in constant contact with Supervisor(s) regarding the progress of the event and the special needs of guests.
• Pay attention to what is needed in preparation for the next day and set-up.
• Remove trash from all areas.
• Care and maintenance of conference center rooms and events.
• Refreshing in use of meeting rooms during breaks.
• Responding promptly and professionally to guest requests.
• Attends departmental and other meetings as required.
• Know and comply with company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, emergencies, and energy.
• Report working on time and in complete uniform.
• May assist with other duties as assigned.
