Job summary

Commercial Metals in North Charleston is looking for a Quality Control Technician to perform tests on raw materials and finished products. The role involves inspecting products for defects and ensuring they meet specifications.

What You'll Do

• Perform quality control tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
• Inspect products for defects, dimensional accuracy, and adherence to specifications.
• Document and maintain accurate test results, inspection reports, and production records.
• Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures and standards.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
• Report non-conformances and recommend corrective actions to management.
• Maintain testing equipment, tools, and areas.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and safety programs.

Your Education
