Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Concrete Quality Control Technician Apprentice to begin a career focused on concrete quality testing and materials analysis. You’ll participate in accelerated onboarding, receive mentorship, and work under senior staff while learning to maintain mix designs per project specs.

The role involves sampling, testing, documenting results, and assisting with investigations of materials. A safety-oriented culture with training and growth opportunities awaits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends.
• Teamwork with QC, operations and drivers.
• Self-motivated and proactive attitude.
• Positive communication with customers and labs during issues.
• 30-40% travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
• Ensure that safety, compliance and environmental requirements are followed.
• Prepare required documents with test results to be presented to production personnel and quality control management.
• Examine laboratory samples to determine their physical properties and conformity.
• Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
• Records and prepares summaries of findings using various databases.
