Job summary

Midwest Concrete Constructors in Richmond Heights is seeking a motivated Concrete Project Manager Intern to join our team. You will assist with estimating, scheduling, design meetings, buyout, permitting, submittals, billing, and site visits under supervision of a PM.

Qualified students enrolled in Civil/Mechanical/Architectural or Construction Management with a 3.0 GPA or higher; prior internship or co-op in construction is preferred.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Civil/Mechanical/Architectural or Construction Management bachelor’s degree program.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
• Previous internship or Co-op construction experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Estimating – describing project proposals and assigning dollar values to the projects.
• Scheduling – creating a working timeline for subcontractors/trades to complete the project on time.
• Design meetings – attend design meetings with owner and team to understand design proposals from structural engineers and architects.
• Buyout – send bid instructions, schedule, and drawings to subcontractors and evaluate proposals.
