Job summary

Midwest Concrete Constructors (MCC) is seeking a highly motivated Concrete Project Manager Co-op to join our team in Richmond Heights. A 6-8 month, full-time internship allows you to work closely with project management while supporting estimating, scheduling, design meetings, buyout, permitting, shop drawing reviews, billing and site visits.

A Co-op offers exposure to real-world projects within a national design-build organization and a potential path to full-time employment after graduation.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Civil/Mechanical/Architectural or Construction Management Bachelor’s degree program.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 out of 4.0.
• Previous Internship or Co-op construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Estimating – describe project proposals and assign dollar values.
• Scheduling – create a working timeline for subcontractors and trades.
• Design meetings – attend meetings to understand design proposals.
• Buyout – issue bid instructions, evaluate proposals, and award subcontracts.
• Permitting – complete permit forms and submit with drawings and fees.
• Shop Drawing and Submittal Review – review submittals and coordinate with suppliers.
• Billing – handle subcontracts, change orders, pay requests, and pay apps.
• Job Site Visits – accompany PM to ensure project runs smoothly.
