Job summary

Rinker Materials is seeking a Production Worker for our Columbus, OH plant. You will contribute to the production of reinforced concrete products by mixing and pouring concrete, operating mixers and conveyors, and maintaining equipment.

Ideal candidates read work orders, can work outdoors, and have experience with hand tools and forklifts. Roles involve lifting up to 50 lbs and following safety and quality protocols on a fast-paced manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Ability to work outdoors or in open air environment.
• Preferred – Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred – Experience operating a forklift, especially an industrial forklift.
• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently; heavier loads require forklift/crane.

Responsibilities

• Mixing and pouring concrete.
• Operate machinery such as concrete mixers and conveyors.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas.
• Assist with transportation and placement of concrete forms and molds.
• Load and unload materials and supplies.
• Set up forms in the production process.
• Move heavy construction materials.
• Follow safety protocols and wear protective gear.
• Adhere to quality standards for concrete products.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
