Job summary

Rinker Materials is seeking a Production Worker for our Whitestown, IN plant. The role involves mixing and pouring concrete, operating mixers and conveyors, and supporting the manufacturing process of concrete products.

Candidates should be able to read work orders, use hand and power tools, and work outdoors. Forklift experience is preferred. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs, and moving heavy materials as needed.

Qualifications

• Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to work outdoors or in open air environment.
• Preferred – Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred – Experience operating a forklift, especially an industrial forklift.
• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently; heavier loads require forklift/crane.

Responsibilities

• Mixing and pouring concrete.
• Operating machinery and equipment, such as concrete mixers and conveyors.
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas.
• Assisting with the transportation and placement of concrete forms and molds.
• Loading and unloading materials and supplies.
• Sets up forms in the manufacturing production process of concrete products.
• Handling and moving heavy construction materials.
• Following safety protocols and wearing appropriate protective gear.
• Adhering to quality control standards to ensure the production of high-quality concrete products.
• Any other miscellaneous tasks assigned by management at any given time and in any given area
