Rinker Materials in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a PRODUCTION WORKER to join our plant. You will contribute as a general laborer in a manufacturing environment focused on reinforced concrete products.

Responsibilities include mixing and pouring concrete, operating cranes and hoists, inspecting equipment, and ensuring safety and quality on site. The role requires crane/forklift familiarity and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Qualifications

• Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
• Experience handling different types of cranes.
• Previous crane operator experience or similar role.
• Able to work outdoors or in open-air environments.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Able to operate forklift in industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Mixing and pouring concrete.
• Transfer loads to construction sites and discharge safely.
• Operate cranes and hoists.
• Inspect equipment and machinery.
• Coordinate with ground operators and signal interpretation.
• Operate machinery such as concrete mixers and conveyors.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas.
• Assist with transportation/placement of concrete forms and molds.
• Load/unload materials and supplies.
• Maintain maintenance/activity logs.
• Set up forms in the production process.
• Move heavy construction materials.
• Follow safety protocols and wear protective gear.
• Adhere to quality standards for concrete products.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
