Job summary

Rinker Materials in Columbus, OH is seeking a PRODUCTION WORKER to join our Columbus plant. As a general laborer, you will contribute to one of the nation's leading manufacturers of reinforced concrete products for stormwater and sanitary applications.

You will be part of a team that values safety, quality, and reliability in a fast-paced production setting. You will work in a team-driven environment that values safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to work outdoors or in open air environment.
• Preferred – Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred – Experience operating a forklift, especially an industrial forklift.
• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently. Over 50 pounds, a forklift or crane will be used.

Responsibilities

• Mixing and pouring concrete.
• Operating machinery and equipment, such as concrete mixers and conveyors.
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas.
• Assisting with the transportation and placement of concrete forms and molds.
• Loading and unloading materials and supplies.
• Sets up forms in the manufacturing production process of concrete products.
• Handling and moving heavy construction materials.
• Following safety protocols and wearing appropriate protective gear.
• Adhering to quality control standards to ensure the production of high-quality concrete products.
• Any other miscellaneous tasks assigned by management at any given time and in any given area
