Upgrade Resources is seeking a Concrete Project Manager 1 for our Austin, TX on-site projects. The role requires 5+ years of construction management experience with self-perform concrete on commercial projects.

You will partner with the Project Superintendent to direct operations, administration, and client relationships from preconstruction through closeout. The position offers a defined path to Project Manager 2, relocation assistance if needed, and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• 5+ years of construction management experience.
• Self-perform concrete experience with a general contractor on commercial projects.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Advanced proficiency in project management, accounting, and scheduling software.
• Lean construction experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead project safety culture and ensure injury-free jobsite; retrain staff as needed.
• Oversee prestart, scope development, bid packages, and schedule development.
• Lead buyout, pricing verification, subcontractor selection, and subcontract issuance.
• Set up and manage submittal schedule; review shop drawings and samples.
• Coordinate subcontractors, owner, field team, design team, and vendors throughout the project.
• Manage change requests and monthly project reviews including OAC meetings.
