Job summary

Upgrade Resources is seeking a Concrete Project Manager 1 for an on-site Dallas, TX role in commercial construction. The position leads project operations and client relationships, with a defined path to Project Manager 2.

Candidates should have 5+ years of construction management experience and self-perform concrete experience with a GC on commercial projects. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required, along with strong software skills and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• 5+ years of construction management experience.
• Self-perform concrete experience with a general contractor on commercial projects.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Advanced proficiency in project management, accounting, and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project safety culture and ensure an injury-free jobsite.
• Manage prestart, including quantity takeoff, scope development, bid packages, and schedule development.
• Lead buyout, subcontractor selection, pricing verification, and subcontracts.
• Set up and manage the submittal schedule and review shop drawings.
• Coordinate subcontractors, owner, field team, design team, and vendors.
• Work with risk management on subcontractor approvals and bonding.
