Job summary

Associated Ready Mixed Concrete in Indio, CA is looking for a skilled Mixer Driver to operate a concrete mixer truck, deliver concrete to job sites, and work as part of a safety‑conscious team. You will handle loading, unloading, and precise pouring while adhering to safety rules and DOT regulations.

Starting pay is $32.00 per hour after paid training, with overtime opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, 401k, training program, strong safety program, and more.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid unrestricted California CDL (Group A or B) and comply with DOT regulations.
• Must have Air Brake and Tanker Endorsements and a safe driving record.
• Knowledge of road construction materials and processes and industry requirements.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Drive truck safely and timely to location for unloading.
• Drive truck to receive sand, gravel, cement, and water and start mixer.
• Release concrete down truck chute into wheelbarrow or area to be poured.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report repairs.
• Assemble, disassemble, lift, and carry chutes.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and yard equipment, and ensure safety compliance.
