Decker Concrete, Inc. is hiring a Concrete Laborer to support concrete and construction operations. You will assist with site preparation, material handling, form setup and general labor using hand and power tools.

Job Description

The Concrete Laborer supports concrete and construction operations by assisting with a wide range of tasks on job sites. This position involves site preparation, material handling, form setup, and general labor using a variety of hand and power tools. The Concrete Laborer works as part of a team to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Essential Duties

• Work in a team prepping and pouring concrete in commercial, agricultural and residential settings.
• Perform general construction labor from project start to finish.
• Ability to quickly learn and assist in all facets of the project.
• Operating various construction and concrete tools and material handling.
• Lifting, carrying or pulling 50 pounds or more of material.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Pre-hire drug screen.
• Ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions.
• Ability to remain flexible as specific assignments change.
• Dedicated and reliable work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic as needed.
