Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking skilled concrete carpenters to perform accurate, durable concrete work under moderate supervision, collaborating with crew and other trades on site. You will apply finishing techniques and ensure safety standards on demanding projects.

Ideal candidates have 2-4 years of concrete construction experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification (preferred; must obtain within 6 months of hire).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience required.
• 2-4 years of experience in concrete construction or a related field.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification preferred; OSHA 10 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Places, levels, and finishes concrete for slabs, walls, and structural components according to plans and specifications.
• Prepares and inspects formwork and reinforcement for proper alignment and cleanliness before placement.
• Mixes, handles, and cures concrete to achieve required strength and appearance.
• Operates and maintains tools and equipment in safe working condition.
• Follows DPR Construction safety and quality standards at all times.
• Coordinates with other trades and supervisors to sequence pours and address field issues.
• Identifies and reports formwork, material, or safety concerns promptly.
