Job summary

Covenant Concrete Construction LLC is seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead a field crew, oversee multiple concrete projects, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Concrete Foreman or similar in construction.
  • Strong knowledge of concrete materials and techniques.
  • Leadership with ability to motivate diverse teams.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of concrete workers for productivity and quality.
  • Ensure concrete work meets established quality standards; perform regular inspections.
  • Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment for all team members and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders for smooth execution.
  • Manage delivery and usage of concrete materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Identify and address challenges to keep projects on track.
  • Maintain accurate progress records, daily reports, and changes to plans.
  • Provide training to junior team members and support their growth.
  • Foster positive client relations and address concerns to ensure satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of concrete workers, ensuring efficient collaboration and optimal productivity.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that concrete work meets established quality standards and conduct regular inspections to identify and rectify any defects or issues.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and guidelines, promoting a safe work environment for all team members and subcontractors.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and effective communication.
  • Material Management: Coordinate the timely delivery and efficient use of concrete materials, tools, and equipment required for the project.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and address any challenges or obstacles that may arise during construction, finding practical solutions to keep the project on track.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily reports, work logs, and any changes to the original project plan.
  • Training: Provide training and guidance to junior team members, assisting in their skill development and career growth.
  • Client Relations: Foster positive relationships with clients by addressing their concerns, providing updates, and ensuring their satisfaction with the project outcome.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational or technical training is a plus.
