Job summary

Covenant Concrete Construction LLC is seeking a Concrete Finisher to ensure surfaces are finished, textured, and sealed to meet high-quality standards on diverse projects. The role requires precision, knowledge of finishing techniques, and the ability to work with hand and power tools on site.

You will smooth, finish, align forms, install rebar, apply sealants, monitor curing, and uphold safety on the job site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher in a construction setting.
• Solid understanding of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques.
• Proficiency in using various concrete finishing tools, such as trowels, floats, edgers, and power vibrators.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license a plus.

Responsibilities

• Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, walks, sidewalks, roads, or curbs, using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, or gutters; patch voids; and use saws to cut control joints.
• Install fixtures such as steel rods and rebar, and place mesh and rebar for strength.
• Direct the casting of the concrete and supervise laborers who use shovels or special tools to spread it.
• Produce rough concrete surface, using broom.
• Mold expansion joints and edges, using standard finishing tools.
• Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure surfaces.
• Waterproof or restore concrete surfaces, using appropriate compounds.
• Monitor the curing process and perform finishing touches accordingly.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines on the job site.
