Job summary

Granite Construction Incorporated seeks a Cement Mason/Finisher to smooth and finish poured concrete surfaces such as floors, walls, sidewalks and curbs using hand tools and power trowels.

Responsibilities include leveling, shaping and finishing surfaces; repairing defects; setting forms and joints. A high school diploma or GED and relevant experience are preferred for this full-time role in a safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Smooth and finish poured concrete surfaces.
• Level, shape, and finish surfaces with straightedge, float, or power screed.
• Repair rough spots using grinders or chisels and patch with concrete.
• Mold expansion joints and edges with edging tools and straightedge.
• May direct subgrade work, forms, and cement placement.
• May specialize in finishing stairs/steps or cement mason maintenance.
