Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking field technicians to join our outdoor materials testing team. You will sample fresh concrete, perform slump, air, and temperature tests, set cylinders, and document every result the same day.

No prior experience required; we train and sponsor certifications. You will work at multiple sites across the region, interact with superintendents, and contribute to quality control on active projects.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable, detail-first and coachable; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064 and C31.
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938; document results daily.
• Maintain and operate testing equipment; communicate results to superintendents.
