Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking field technicians to sample fresh concrete, perform slump, air, temperature tests, and cylinder sets, and verify soil compaction with a nuclear density gauge. Entry level training and certification sponsorship are provided.

You will work outdoors at active job sites, communicate results to superintendents on site, keep detailed records, and advance through certifications such as ACI Field Grade I and NICET as you progress.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and coachable.
• Company sponsors ACI Field Grade I and NICET certifications.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31.
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938.
• Prepare clear daily field reports tied to placement locations.
• Maintain gauge standardization, cure boxes, and chain of custody.
• Communicate results to superintendents on the spot.
