Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a seasoned construction professional to manage project scope, budget, and quality per contract documents. You will lead cross-functional teams, resolve plan conflicts, and oversee submittals, changes, and closeout documentation to ensure on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include budget management through change orders, collaboration with architects, subcontractors, and inspectors, and developing operational reports to support decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• Read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specs, scopes of work and schedule.
• Strong negotiation and leadership skills; proficient in MS Office.
• Experience with BIM and lean methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Resolve plan/specification issues to avoid delays; coordinate with base team, architects, subcontractors and inspectors.
• Manage project budget via Change Order process with base team and subs; reconcile budget with productivity data.
• Apply knowledge of estimates, contracts, and drawings to decisions; ensure drawings relate to estimate.
• Ensure timely release of materials/equipment; publish delivery dates to suppliers and team.
• Collect invoices; assist pay app development; gather time sheets for billing.
• Develop reports for ORM, Profit Plan, CAB.
• Distribute schedule/scope details to appropriate parties.
• Manage submittals/shop drawings; resolve conflicts between trades.
• Negotiate change orders; obtain approvals and resolve conflicts.
• Oversee closeout; compile RFI's, O&M manuals, warranties, as-builts.
