Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an Experienced Construction Project Manager to manage information necessary to construct project scope on time, within budget, and to quality as specified by contract documents.

You will lead cross-functional coordination with base team, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors and owner's representatives to resolve issues, manage budgets, and ensure on‑time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from accredited program and 4 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and schedule.
• Negotiation skills.
• Utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) and lean practices.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate leadership and interpersonal relationship building skills.
• Proficient in computer applications and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Resolve issues to avoid delays, collaborating with base team, architects, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, inspectors, and owner's representatives.
• Manage project budget through Change Order processes, gathering data to reconcile the budget.
• Apply knowledge of estimates, contract and subcontract documents to ensure drawings align with the estimate.
• Ensure timely release of materials/equipment to meet construction schedule and publish delivery dates.
• Collect invoices, assist with pay applications, and gather trade partner time sheets for billing verification.
• Develop reports for ORM, Profit Plan, and CAB.
• Distribute schedule and scope details to appropriate parties.
• Manage submittals and shop drawings; coordinate with trades to resolve conflicts.
• Negotiate change orders and manage changes in work with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Oversee closeout: RFI, warranties, O&Ms, as-builts, attic stock, spare parts.
• Supervise staff and approve timesheets.
• Prepare Scope of Work documents for trades.
