Turner Construction Company is seeking a seasoned project professional to supervise engineering and administrative functions at the project level for a Philadelphia-area project.

You will coordinate with field operations to ensure information transfer, lead engineering staffing, and enforce safety and compliance while managing document reviews, procurement, and budgeting activities to support GMP development and project milestones.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree plus minimum of eight years' related experience.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and cost control procedures.
• Knowledge of estimating, scheduling, purchasing, and engineering principles and techniques.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to implement Building Information Models (BIM) and Lean to benefit the project.
• Demonstrated ability to thoroughly understand drawings and specifications, general contract and subcontract documents.

Responsabilidades

• Develop a comprehensive working knowledge of the contract documents (Turner's contract, plans, specifications and applicable codes).
• Lead, supervise and develop Turner engineering staff, including input on performance appraisals.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, ethics and compliance requirements at all times.
• Overall responsibility for communication of information amongst all project team members.
• Establish and maintain procedures with design professionals, consultants, owner and subcontractors for information flow, approvals, meetings, reporting, applications for payment, etc.
• Work with Preconstruction, Estimating and Purchasing in development of GMP or initial project budget; lead the preconstruction effort related to Project Engineering.
• Conduct thorough construction document reviews and examine for constructability and QA/QC; address concerns with design professionals.
• Participate in preparation of studies, recommendations for materials/methods, and cost estimates.
• Prepare detailed contract item lists; develop trade scope for bid packages and major purchases.
• Prepare procurement schedule for subcontractors and major purchases to ensure timely buy-outs and schedule compliance.
• Responsible for managing financial status of the project including status reports and accuracy of financials.
• Schedule, conduct, and document all job meetings including owner-architect and coordination meetings.
• Manage subcontract change orders including reviews, negotiations and owner approvals.
• Manage project close-out, including warranties, final payment and records retention.
