Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an experienced professional to manage, evaluate, and assess information necessary to construct project scope on time, within budget, and to contract quality. You will resolve plan/spec issues, manage budgets, and oversee submittals, RFI, and closeout processes.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of related construction experience, strong negotiation, leadership, and communication skills, and proficiency with BIM and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program with 4 years of related construction experience.
• Read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and schedule.
• Proven negotiation, leadership, and communication skills; proficient in MS Office and BIM.

Responsibilities

• Resolve issues related to plans and specifications to avoid delays and productivity losses with base team, architects, subcontractors, and owner's reps.
• Manage project budget through Change Order Management with base team and suppliers; reconcile budget with data.
• Apply knowledge of estimates, contracts, and subcontract documents to decisions on drawings and subcontract information; ensure alignment with the estimate.
• Ensure timely release of materials and equipment; publish delivery dates to suppliers, base team, and field supervisor.
• Collect invoices and assist with pay applications; gather trade partner time sheets for billing verification.
• Develop reports for ORM, Profit Plan, and CAB; distribute schedule and scope details to relevant parties.
• Manage submittals and shop drawings; ensure conformance to contract specs and resolve conflicts with trades.
• Negotiate change orders; obtain estimates from subcontractors and suppliers; obtain client approval and resolve conflicts.
• Oversee closeout; prepare RFI records, warranties, OMs, and as-builts; ensure contractual compliance.
• Supervise staff and approve timesheets; provide input on performance appraisals.
