Job summary

Sipes Asphalt Solutions LLC is seeking a dependable Concrete Crew Laborer to join our construction team. You will assist with pouring, leveling, finishing and curing concrete for various projects. This is a hands-on role requiring safety awareness and a strong work ethic.

The position involves site prep, material handling, and collaboration with crew members. Candidates should be able to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors in different weather, and be prepared for long hours and possible overtime.

Qualifications

• Prior construction or concrete work experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and work on your feet in varying weather.
• Comfortable working with power tools, hand tools, and machinery.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality are a must.
• Willingness to learn and grow with the team.
• Basic understanding of safety practices and ability to follow directions.
• Valid Driver's License preferred.
• Ability to work long hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
• Willingness to travel overnight when projects are outside the local area.

Responsibilities

• Assist in site prep, including digging, grading, and setting forms.
• Load, unload, and move materials and tools to job sites.
• Break up existing concrete with hand tools or power tools.
• Remove broken concrete and debris from work area.
• Pour and spread wet concrete.
• Collect and clean concrete tools after job completion.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Support other crew members and follow supervisor directions.
