B&B Concrete Contractors is seeking a Commercial Concrete Carpenter to perform carpentry tasks related to prepping, pouring, placing, and finishing concrete on foundations, floors, and structures in Columbus, Ohio.

The role includes building wood and metal forms, setting forms to precise elevations, and coordinating with foremen and supervisors to ensure safe, accurate pours and compliance with drawings.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to read and understand drawings and prints.
• Experience building wood or metal forms for concrete structures.
• Ability to set forms to elevations and proper locations.
• Familiar with reinforcing steel placement and safety policies.

Aufgaben

• Read and interpret drawings and prints.
• Build and/or assemble wood or metal forms for concrete floors, slabs, walls, columns, tilt-walls, elevated slabs and other structures.
• Set and place forms to proper elevations and locations; assist in placing reinforcing steel as needed.
• Set and erect forms using a variety of materials and forming systems, primarily Symon forms.
• Verify accuracy of structures using a plumb bob, carpenter's level, laser or digital transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for access to elevated areas.
• Communicate with Foreman, Riding Boss, or Project Manager regarding problems, materials, or safety hazards.
• Ensure all equipment is in safe working condition.
• Assist with placement of concrete as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
