Wells Concrete Products, Inc. seeks a Batch Plant Operator to accurately batch concrete, operate equipment, and support daily plant operations. You will collaborate with Production and Quality teams while upholding safety standards and troubleshooting issues to maintain high-quality output.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication skills to work with team members and leadership.
• Basic math skills including ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems quickly and efficiently.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and operate equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Knowledge of materials used in batching operations.
• Adaptable and open to process improvements and operational changes.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate with Production and Quality Control to ensure accurate batching and documentation.
• Operate batching equipment, forklifts, loaders, trucks, and crane-ways.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance in partnership with Maintenance.
• Order and manage materials for batch plant operations.
• Schedule and coordinate deliveries with external vendors.
• Follow and enforce all safety procedures and policies.
• Batch concrete accurately based on job specifications.
• Troubleshoot issues and drive continuous process improvements.
• Perform basic calculations for mix designs and material quantities.
• Maintain cleanliness of the mixer area and inspect equipment regularly.
