Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a Batch Plant Operator to control concrete production using batching software and ensure products meet specifications. You will verify admixtures, adjust dosages, and maintain logs while upholding a safety-first environment on-site across projects.

The role requires a GED or high school diploma and prior batch plant experience, plus basic skid steer knowledge. Occasional travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Experience as Batch Plant Operator; knowledge of mix designs desirable.
• Ability to produce concrete to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Verifies admixtures and dosages to meet specifications.
• Adjusts batching weights to maintain specs.
• Ensure a safe work environment and wear PPE as directed.
• Follow OSHA/MSHA procedures and safety rules.
• Follow foreperson directions for daily tasks and projects.
• Maintain professional conduct with coworkers and the public.
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
