Job summary

Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa subsidiary, seeks a Batch Plant Operator for our Fort Pierce, FL location. You will lead the operation of batching equipment that blends cement, aggregate and water to produce high-strength concrete, while ensuring data collection and adherence to specifications.

The role requires 1+ year batching experience, safety leadership, and the ability to coordinate with QC and plant staff. Fort Pierce facility offers growth in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of concrete batching experience or related field.
• Must obtain Batch Plant operator certifications (ACI or equivalent).
• Ability to lead and motivate others to achieve high product levels.
• Good communication (oral and written) and basic computer skills (Excel/Word).
• Comfort working with cement, form oil and admixes, and varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and plant work instructions.
• Lead batching operations to meet specifications.
• Oversee concrete mixes and collect batch data.
• Coordinate with QC, engineering, and plant personnel on variances.
• Maintain cleanliness around batching area and equipment.
• Operate heavy equipment to load raw materials.
• Ensure equipment maintenance as scheduled and document records.
