Job summary

Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa subsidiary, is seeking a Batch Plant Operator at our Fort Pierce, FL location. You will lead the operation of batching equipment to mix concrete, monitor quality, and coordinate with QC and plant staff to meet specifications.

The role requires 1+ year batching experience, safety awareness, and ability to work in a team; ACI certifications preferred; strong computer skills for batching software, Excel and Word; and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in concrete batching and knowledge of batching technology.
• Participation in plant safety and environmental meetings.
• Obtain Batch Plant operator certifications such as ACI certifications.
• Ability to lead and motivate others to achieve high product levels.
• Proficient with Excel and Word; able to run batching programs.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Reliable attendance and on-time performance.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and plant policies.
• Oversee batching operations per specifications.
• Operate batching equipment and load materials.
• Gather and record batch data.
• Coordinate with QC, engineering and plant staff on variances.
• Ensure equipment and work areas are clean.
• Maintain records for review.
• Perform other duties as required.
