Job summary

Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa subsidiary, is seeking a Production Operator for the Fort Pierce plant. You will join a collaborative production team, performing routine labor and assisting skilled workers in fabricating concrete poles and related tasks.

The role requires reading drawings and manuals, following safety procedures, and readiness to operate forklifts and overhead cranes. Applicants should be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Basic understanding of a manufacturing work environment.
• Ability to work daily overtime and weekends if needed.
• Ability to work in different weather conditions.
• The ability to maintain good attendance.
• The ability to be a strong team member.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist in production of concrete poles, including assembly, demolding, finishing and related tasks.
• Read fabrication drawings, manuals and work instructions.
• Participate in materials and supplies inventories.
• Load, unload, lift and move materials; general manual labor.
• Follow safety practices and protocols.
• Join safety committees or initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Operate forklifts, cranes and other mobile equipment.
