Job description

Assistant Batch Plant Operator

This position will be responsible for all activities related to the safe and efficient production of a portable concrete plant. Testing of materials, along with managing controls to weigh and mix aggregate, cement, and water are all essential elements of this position. The Batch Plant Operator will be accountable for set up and tear down of the concrete batch plant, ordering material, maintenance, and record keeping. The ability to repair machinery using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment are required while the ability and experience to make electrical repairs is favorable. Individual must have a thorough knowledge of concrete batching, be computer literate, ACI Level 1 certified within the first year of employment, have excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to work well with others, be able to multi task in a fast paced environment, and have experience with front-end loaders.
