Job summary

Cal State East Bay is seeking a Concord Center Support Coordinator to coordinate classroom scheduling, events, and facility rentals for Concord Center staff and external groups. This role provides support for faculty-driven research and serves as lead for student and faculty services at Concord, including East Bay Student Nursing Association, Nursing Department, PaCE, and Osher Lifelong Learning events.

This is a 100% in-person position with no remote work option.

Qualifications

• Fully functional knowledge of standard office procedures and English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Ability to learn new office technology systems and software quickly.
• High school diploma or equivalent with several years of related office work experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, coordinate, and administer space reservations for the Concord Center and manage classroom scheduling.
• Maintain communication with academic departments scheduling courses and events.
• Collaborate with Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, Nursing, PaCE and OLLI to allocate space for courses and events.
• Develop and revise policies for reservations and ensure alignment with university requirements.
• Track rental activity, generate monthly/annual reports, and support performance improvements.
