Job summary

Discovery Senior Living's Conservatory at Alden Bridge in The Woodlands, TX, is seeking a Concierge to support residents and visitors, greet guests, manage phone messages, and coordinate appointments in a friendly, resident-focused team.

This role emphasizes strong customer service, organization, and communication within a caring, family-first culture of Discovery Senior Living, a leading provider of luxury senior-living communities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone and reception duties.
• Take complete messages and relay to the right person.
• Greet residents and visitors and provide directions.
• Distribute brochures to the marketing department.
• Prepare meal tickets and tally meal counts for dining staff.
• Maintain and update the Resident Phone List and roster daily.
• Schedule appointments for residents and family members.
• Keep desk and entry area neat and organized.
• Distribute mail to residents and staff.
• Maintain resident forms for credits and ensure adherence to policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Our community is looking for a Concierge to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Carriers out telephone answering and reception duties as required.
• Takes complete messages with pertinent information and communicates messages to the intended recipient.
• Greets residents and visitors. Answers inquiries and gives directions.
• Collates brochures for the marketing department.
• Prepares meal tickets for team members and family members, tallies meal count sheets for the Dining staff.
• Updates the Resident Phone List and Roster and Move-In and Move-Out Register daily; Guest and Sign-In Logs as necessary.
• Manages appointments for residents and family members such as but not limited to hairdresser, transportation, etc.
• Maintains and keeps desk and entry area neat and organized.
• Organizes, distributes mail to residents, Executive Director and Department Coordinators.
• Maintains resident forms for miscellaneous credits.
• Maintains adherence to all company personnel policies and established operating policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• One to three years customer service experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
