Job summary

Edmonds Eye MD / Sight Partners is hiring a Physician Relations & Patient Experience Specialist to act as the bridge between our specialists, referring providers, and patients. In this role, you will help strengthen physician partnerships while ensuring every referred patient experiences seamless, concierge-level care from referral to follow-up.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in healthcare, preferably with physician offices, referrals, patient navigation, or customer service.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with EMRs, CRM, or referral management software is a plus.
• Ophthalmology or specialty practice experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop trusted relationships with referring physicians and their office teams.
• Visit provider offices, educate referral partners, and strengthen long-term partnerships.
• Guide patients through the referral process, removing barriers and ensuring timely access to care.
• Coordinate communication between providers, patients, and our clinical teams.
• Ensure referring physicians receive timely updates, consultation notes, and operative reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and elevate the referral experience.
• Serve as the voice of both our providers and patients by sharing feedback that drives continuous improvement.
