Job summary

Edmonds Eye MD is seeking a Physician Relations & Patient Experience Specialist to serve as the bridge between our specialists, referring providers, and patients. This full-time role supports North King County and South Snohomish County, ensuring seamless, concierge-level care from referral to follow-up.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of healthcare experience, preferably with physician offices or referrals.
• Experience building professional relationships and coordinating across departments.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with EMRs, CRM systems, or referral management software is a plus.
• Ophthalmology or specialty practice experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop trusted relationships with referring physicians and their office teams.
• Visit provider offices, educate referral partners, and strengthen long-term partnerships.
• Guide patients through the referral process, removing barriers and ensuring timely access to care.
• Coordinate communication between providers, patients, and clinical teams.
• Ensure referring physicians receive timely updates, consultation notes, and operative reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and elevate the referral experience.
• Serve as the voice of both providers and patients to drive continuous improvement.
