Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Concierge for a part-time night position to serve residents and visitors at our Santa Clara community. You will deliver exceptional customer service, handle calls, monitor safety, and support mail and business center operations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, strong communication skills, proficiency with MS Office, and willingness to pass background and health screenings; prior hospitality or senior living exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prefer two years of hospitality or senior living experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to operate a PC and MS Office programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication with staff, physicians, residents and families.
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests (TB, etc.).
• Vaccination and PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents, guests, and visitors with exceptional customer service.
• Answer telephones and direct calls to appropriate individuals.
• Monitor the Emergency Alert System and respond promptly to calls.
• Manage the business center and process incoming/outgoing mail.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with staff and other departments.

Fridays & Saturdays, 10:00pm-6:30am

Pay Range

$19.50 - $20.50 per hour (depends on experience)

Responsibilities

• Provide all residents, guests, and visitors with exceptional customer service.
• Answer telephones, record, and/or direct calls to appropriate individuals in a timely, clear, concise, and professional manner.
• Monitor the Emergency Alert System and immediately respond to every call.
• Effectively manage the business center and process incoming and outgoing mail.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer two (2) years of experience in a hospitality setting or prior senior living community.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing, and wearing face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
