Job summary

Baseline Medical is seeking an experienced Schedule Coordinator for our Fairfax, VA headquarters. This part‑time, on‑site role focuses on coordinating mobile wellness/illness appointments, optimizing nurse/provider schedules, and delivering a concierge patient experience in a fast‑paced setting.

You will manage patient interactions, schedule changes, and resource allocation while collaborating with nurses, providers, and leadership to resolve issues and ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of medical scheduling or patient coordination experience.
• Experience coordinating multiple providers and changing patient needs.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls, texts, emails, and other communications.
• Set appointments for patients with optimal scheduling and resource use.
• Monitor provider availability and adjust schedules for cancellations, emergencies, and changes.
• Review scheduling requests for completeness and gather missing information.
• Collaborate with nurses, providers, and leadership to resolve conflicts.
• Handle data entry, record maintenance, and patient documentation per SOPs.
• Ensure HIPAA/privacy compliance for patient information.
• Coordinate appointment logistics and interdepartmental communication.
• Use scheduling software and tech platforms to manage calendars.
