Job summary

MD² East 57th Street, a private concierge primary care practice in Midtown Manhattan, is hiring a seasoned Medical Assistant for a full-time on-site role. You will work with a small team to greet patients, support clinicians, and maintain confidential patient interactions in a patient-centric environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of primary care experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in phlebotomy, spirometry, EKG, audiometry and stress testing, and solid

Qualifications

• Must be a seasoned professional; 5+ years of primary practice / clinic experience is desired.
• Appreciation of the unique nature of our healthcare delivery and related demands.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and highly developed listening ability.
• Ability to draw blood with ease.
• Ability to perform or become proficient with spirometry, EKG, audiogram and stress tests.
• Able and willing to comply with company and industry operational standards and requirement
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Aptitude for operation of and troubleshooting computer software programs.
• Ability to work as an effective member of a team
• Demonstrated integrity, professional maturity and leadership skills.
• Valid drivers license and ability to make house/office calls.

• Greet patients at the door and assist them throughout their appointment.
• Ensure the highest level of empathy, kindness and understanding in delivering patient care.
• Contribute to the professional atmosphere required by the physicians and staff.
• Maintain the strictest level of patient confidentiality.
• Assist the practice in delivering the highest level of operation and clinical standards.
• Ensure effective, ongoing communication between practice physicians/staff and corporate leadership.
• Develop relationships with key specialists in order to facilitate patient care.
